Hello everyone, and welcome to Games You Hate. For whatever reason, you ended up here. This warm greeting serves as a friendly reminder to "stay awhile and listen." Go ahead and read what we've got to say, agree with us when you feel like it, and tell us how horribly wrong we are when we slander your favorite games. It's all in good fun, and discourse is always welcome.
Our Mission Statement: Our goal is to play through and write about video games that are either universally hated, hated by us, or that we feel are unfairly hated by many people. We will do our best to express what exactly we liked and hated about these games without the use of a scoring system.
So now that we've got that out of the way, feel free to grab a Mountain Dew or a Pabst Blue Ribbon and check out what we have to say about games.

Welcome Part 2
I know that Dan already sent out a plenary, "Welcome to the site" address and updated you all on our mission statement for the blog. I would also like to welcome and thank you for taking the time to check out the blog. Please stay with us as we continue to figure out what works, what doesn't, and try to find fun things that interact with you guys. I encourage you all to leave comments, thoughts, and ideas about where you would like to see this go or games we should review. Gaming companies can't succeed without gamers, likewise we can't succeed if we don't know what people want to see on the site. We also encourage you to leave comments about the games we reviewed. Maybe you feel like we've unjustly hated a game, and you have every right to feel that way. If this is the case, let us know. Tell us you think we've made a mistake. Who knows? You could end up being a guest columnist.
The point in all of this is to do something a little different than other sites. Most of them nerd out over the games that they (and everyone else) loved, and we wanted to give attention to those games you hate. Think about it. After those games are reviewed and sent out to the public, nothing happens. They sit in a bin until your curiosity gets the better of you and you buy it (come on, it's $4). Either that or it's shoved down your throat so much that you HAVE to cave in and buy it (only this time it's $50). Upon playing it, you realize how awful it is and tell every single one of your friends to take it back. Maybe this site will validate your frustrations. It feels nice to have someone to commiserate over horrible games with. On that note, not every game we review is going to have you sitting there going, "Yeah! I totally hated that game, too!" I can imagine COD defenders will run rabid through here when we get there and that's their prerogative. We WANT you to tell us why you'll defend a game and why you hated the same game. Again, this site is all about communitas (look it up).
Again, I want to thank you all for taking the time to check us out. Stay with us, grow with us, and more importantly, interact with us. Send us an e-mail at gamesyouhate@yahoo.com and let us know what you think. Also, I want to thank our Facebook users who gave us more great ideas on what games to cover. Find us at "Games You Hate" and join the discussion!
